Common questions

We cannot tell you, and anyone who answers that without knowing your finances is guessing. Broadly, corporations suit companies planning to raise outside investment or issue stock, and LLCs suit most everything else. Ask a CPA or an attorney before you decide.

This forms a corporation, which the IRS taxes as a C corporation by default. S corporation is a tax election on top, made with Form 2553. We file that for $50 whenever you are ready.

The order form asks, and most new companies authorise between 1,000 and 10,000. Some states scale their filing fee to the share count, and we tell you if yours is one of them before you pay.
