Change how the IRS taxes your company
Form 8832 tells the IRS to treat your LLC as something other than its default. Most often that means being taxed as a C corporation. No government fee, $50 flat.
What you get
- Prepared and sent to the IRS within one business day
- No government fee, because the IRS does not charge one
- Effective date checked against the IRS's 75-day backdating window
Filed in a day. One flat price. Nothing you didn't ask for.
Filed within one business day
One tier, one speed, every order. There is no rush fee here because there is no slow lane to buy your way out of.
A specialist reads every filing
Prepared and checked by someone who files these all day. If your name or address will not clear the state, you hear from us before it goes in.
Registered agent at $99, only if you want one
The lowest published rate of the five services we compare, sitting beside a free option to name yourself. Most people never need to buy it.
One price, and nothing starts on its own
$100 to form, $50 flat for every filing after. The only thing that can renew is a registered agent you chose, at the price you chose it for. No tiers, no trial that turns into a charge.

Common questions
No. S-corp treatment is Form 2553, a different form we file for the same $50. You do not need Form 8832 first; Form 2553 handles the classification on its own.
Usually to retain earnings inside the business at corporate rates, or because an investor requires it. It also brings double taxation on distributions. This is squarely a question for your CPA, and we do not give tax advice.
The IRS allows an effective date up to 75 days before the form is filed, and up to 12 months after. We check the date you want against that window before filing.

Comparing us with someone else?
Good. We keep dated comparisons against the four biggest services, with every figure linked to the page we read it on and an honest note about where each of them beats us.
