What you will pay in year two
Getting formed is the cheap part everywhere. What decides your real cost is the registered agent that bills you every year, the plan that renews on your anniversary, and the free trial that turns into a monthly charge. Registered agent service is the one thing all five of us sell identically, so it is the fair thing to compare.
Registered agent, published price per year
Published annual rates taken from each company's own pages on August 4, 2026. Bizee and Northwest include the first year with a formation order, so year one looks different; these are the rates to keep the service. Ours is $99 a year, optional, and sits beside a free option to use your own address.
Compare us properly
Four pages, every figure dated and linked to where we read it, and each one says where the other company beats us. Two of them do.
How it works
Tell us about your business
Its name, its state, and who owns it. That is most of it. You will see your exact total before you type anything, and nothing is charged until the last step.
We prepare and file it
A specialist reads every order and files it with your state within one business day. If something looks wrong with your name or your address, we email you before filing, not after.
You get your documents
Your stamped formation documents land in your inbox and in your account, along with what to do next. Sign in any time with your email to see where things stand.
What you should know before you pay
Three things this industry would rather you did not find out until after checkout.
The EIN is optional
You need one to open a business bank account or run payroll. The IRS issues them free, or we can get yours with your formation for $50 so you never touch the form. It is off unless you add it.
Most people can be their own registered agent
The state wants a street address where somebody can hand you legal papers on a Tuesday afternoon. If that is your address, use it and pay us nothing. If you would rather your home address stayed out of a public database, ours is $99 a year.
We do not touch the state's fee
Whatever your state charges shows up as its own line, at the amount they charge. We do not mark it up, and we do not bury it in a package price so you cannot tell what went where. If the state raises it before we file, you get an email, not a surprise.
Common questions
We prepare and submit your filing within one business day, at no extra cost. From there it is up to your state, which can take anywhere from same day to a few weeks. We tell you what to expect for your state before you pay, and you can watch the progress in your account.
Every state charges its own fee to register a business, from $35 in Montana to $520 in Massachusetts. That money goes to the state, not to us, so we show it as its own line instead of hiding it inside a package price. It means our fee is the same wherever you are, and you can see exactly where your money went.
You can run a business without one, but you would be personally on the hook for its debts and lawsuits. An LLC puts a legal wall between the business and your house, your car, and your savings, which is the main reason people form one. We cannot advise you on whether it fits your situation, and anyone who tells you it does without knowing your finances is guessing.
Because a $0 formation has to make its money somewhere else, usually a registered agent that bills $125 to $249 every year, or a plan that renews on your anniversary. We would rather charge $100 once and let the agent be your choice. Our comparison pages show what each company charges, including where they beat us.
We fix it and file again at no charge. If we cannot get it filed at all, you get everything back, including the state's fee.
Yes. Every order comes with an account you open using your email address, with no password to invent or forget. It shows where your filing is, what we have sent the state, and your documents as they come back.
Some IRS forms need a Social Security number. When one does, it is encrypted the moment you send it, never passed to our payment processor, and used only on the form it was collected for.
No. We are a filing service run by Fast Filing Group LLC. We prepare and submit the documents you ask us to, and we do not give legal or tax advice or tell you which entity type to choose. For that, talk to an attorney or a CPA. You can also file most of this yourself, directly with your state or the IRS.
